BUBBY:
Oh Yeah, I can tell you about some things we watch recently or seen…

MAEGAN:
Yeah.

BUBBY:
Like a couple of days. Okay, a couple of days ago and this is kind of funny. I’ll tell you why. A couple of days ago, okay, we’ve been I don’t know now on the weekend sometimes Granddad has asked to watch DVDs. Okay. Which we hadn’t done for quite a while. So we decided to pick up this one called Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. You know…spy story.

MAEGAN:
What was it called? Tinker?

BUBBY:
Tinker Tailor, Soldier Spy.

MAEGAN:
Tinker, I don’t know.

BUBBY:
Tinker Tailor, Soldier Spy. But you know what, honey? I don’t think you would care that much for it if you were going to watch it because we couldn’t tell heads or tales what was going on with that movie.

MAEGAN:
Haha ok.

BUBBY:
And we were not, We’re not the only ones that was puzzled watching this. I think Cheryl mentioned she once watched it too and she couldn’t make out, you know, what was happening there. But anyways, I guess it’s a pretty, you have to make out what they’re, first of all what they’re saying all the time, which I can’t always, you know, tell sometimes. And it’s a little difficult, I think to make out for me what’s happening in this kind of film but anyway, it seems the writer he’s he was famous for making, you know, for writing these, these kind of spy stories. And apparently I think he himself once did some spying, you know, the writer. Yeah. I can tell you his name I don’t remember his name off hand, honey. But I’ll tell you what the story, why I’m telling you this because this was two days ago, we watched that, you know, that movie. And by the way, it was from a book.

MAEGAN:
Okay.

BUBBY:
He’s, he’s a writer. He doesn’t make the films but he writes the books. And then they make films from the book, you see. So, anyways, this writer, apparently this morning, granddad, I was listening to the news, and he heard that he died recently. He just died. I don’t know if it’s today or yesterday. But he, granddad, I thought it was really so funny that we just watched the DVD the other day, and now we hear that he just died, you know?

MAEGAN:
Yeah.

BUBBY:
The write, the writer that wrote it, you know, that was kind of funny. Also, I don’t know if you’re of heard of this, honey, but yesterday, I seem like, you know, most of the nights we sit there on the TV. And you know, switching around is not much to see lately, you know, especially before like Christmas, you know, there’s a lot of these Christmas stories and granddad’s not interested, you know…

MAEGAN:
It’s all the same ones, yeah.

BUBBY:
You know, he’s just not interested in those things, you know, like things with action, you know, and stuff like that, you know, so, so I noticed something coming that was going to start at 5:30 I didn’t have I thought I heard the name before, but it’s something called like Me before you, something like that. You ever hear of that, honey?

Maegan: No. I don’t think so.

BUBBY:
Never heard of it? I think it’s English because it’s, well, anyways, it’s, I’m sure it was a British film, because it’s obvious is taking place there and they all spoke with the accent so had to be a British film. And it turned out to be you know, a pretty good good story, you know, but a little bit heart wrenching, you know?

MAEGAN:
Yeah.

BUBBY:
Yeah. But it was good. Anyway, so if you if you happen to look it up, Honey, I’m not sure if that’s what it’s called. But I think it’s called Me Before You or something like that, you know.

MAEGAN:
Did granddad like it?

BUBBY:
Yeah, well, actually, it’s one movie that we actually managed to watch right through because it started at 5:30 right. So it finished up at let me se…5:30 yeah, 6:30… Yeah, eight o’clock.

MAEGAN:
Okay

BUBBY:
So it was a little longer than usual. You know, usually the last maybe two hours but there’s so much you know, commercials on TV in between so it’s hard to say when the actual film you know how long it was but anyways, yeah, so it’s it’s pretty good honey you know, we watched right to the end.

MAEGAN:
Oh ok. Yeah, I’ll look it up.

BUBBY:
Yeah look it up just to see if I have the right name or something. And I also recognized, it’s funny hey, I only recognized one person, one character in the film that played like the father, the main player, you know? We, that I recognized him from Downton Abbey, actually.

MAEGAN:
Oh, Okay.

BUBBY:
Yeah, yeah, he didn’t like play any major role in Downton Abbey, but he played one of the servants that was employed you know, and you know, You’ve seen Downton Abbey hey honey?

MAEGAN:
No, I have only watched one episode.

BUBBY:
Oh, you ever seen it?

MAEGAN:
I know I have to watch it. That one and the Crown yeah.

BUBBY:
Oh I’m surprised because your mom watched it all…

MAEGAN:
Hahah.

BUBBY:
Yeah, so that’s the story honey.

MAEGAN:
I know. Yeah, it’s on my list.

BUBBY:
Hey?

MAEGAN:
It’s on my list.

BUBBY:
Yeah, it’s on your list hey dear but you’re so busy.

MAEGAN:
Haha.

BUBBY:
Well, maybe when you finish up your little, what do you call them? Your little chickens?

MAEGAN:
Hahah.

BUBBY:
It might give you a little more time hey?

MAEGAN:
Yeah

BUBBY:
On your hands…

MAEGAN:
Hahah No, but I do, I watch things when I make the chickens so that’s a good time. But yeah, I will stop in the, in the new year.

BUBBY:
Yeah ok honey.

MAEGAN:
Hahah

BUBBY:
Good, ok sweetie. So anyways, I think I’m gonna let you go shortly.

MAEGAN:
Okay, well hopefully I’ll see you soon. I’m gonna like yeah, still figuring out the car situation but…

BUBBY:
Yeah.

MAEGAN:
Yes. Come up soon…Oh, Happy Hanukkah by the way.

BUBBY:
Hey, Yeah. Happy Hanukkah sweetie. Yeah. It’s not the same as the usually hey?

MAEGAN:
Nope, not this year.

BUBBY:
Not for anybody Yeah.

MAEGAN:
Well tell Granddad too. Happy Hanukkah.

BUBBY:
Ok honey.

MAEGAN:
Yup, and have a good night, have a good dinner.

BUBBY:
Thank you sweetie, you too.

MAEGAN:
K, bye.

BUBBY:
